PGR BoD on record - demand for justice an inconvenience

Inconveniently yours...

As stated before, May 2014 the Patriot Guard BoD terminated the membership of Ted Frosty Foster, 78 year old Vietnam Veteran with seven years service and nearly 400 missions for the PGR to his credit. Patriot Guard local/state/regional leadership failed to act within the confines of the Code of Conduct.

Foster answered the vague allegations based on mission envy, lies and slander with documented proof and challenged PGR BoD to do their jobs and verify the validity of our claims and/or their claims. The Patriot Guard BoD responded with audacious contempt for Foster, members in good standing who wrote in Foster's support and in blatant disregard for protocol as defined in the PGR Code of Conduct. Below is an example of how PGR BoD responded to Foster's call for justice. To date, PGR BoD has failed to prove their side of the case - if the termination stands - then Foster based on his long and blemish free tenure with the PGR deserves the courtesy of the particulars.

Ted Foster and BoD only

Mr Foster,

That will be quite enough.

I have removed all from the reply list except BoD and yourself, as I will not continue to inconvenience others with your continued demands. We all have other matters to attend to.

About those demands PGR is NOT subject to them in any way. Any consideration you received as a member ended with that membership. Let's be clear about that.

You were provided with the information you were due. That's all that will be forthcoming...don't fool yourself into believing otherwise. You were also given one opportunity to speak for yourself. I advise you to use the next email to take advantage of that....it's the last chance you have. Any other communication from you will be disregarded.

To Ted Foster:

PGR Board of Directors has reviewed all information presented, and we continue to support the opinion of state and Regional leadership that Patriot Guard Riders are better served without your participation and membership. The tone of the communications received from you and your cohorts confirms that our decision is the correct one.

The termination stands. This will not be revisited.

Mike "StayLow" Childree, Vice-President of Members
National Board of Directors
Patriot Guard Riders

To summarize: the PGR BoD apparently believes their final word is law. Those who know the truth and have spoken the truth are labeled as inconvenient cohorts instead of members concerned with both the treatment of one of their own and the high-handed language and actions of the BoD. The BoD started this nasty bit of business by completely ignoring the Code of Conduct they accuse Foster of abusing. We have proven the lie. Instead of taking the high road and actually serving the hat they wear - they have chosen to abandon all integrity and stick together in mob discrimination and persecution.

If you believe Foster deserves fair treatment and at the very least a specific answer to why the termination stands... and if you believe what you read above is hardly representative of objective and fair-minded leadership - please sign the petition (see below).

Understand, the Patriot Guard Riders, those who captain missions and those who ride and stand with flags out in the heat, cold, rain and snow are some of the finest people we know. The mission is true and honorable. We have formed enduring friendship with many people through our association with the PGR. Imagine our dismay at our treatment at the hands of PGR local/state/regional leadership and the BoD. We have witnessed no honor, no consideration, no integrity. What we have witnessed is a smug disregard and a disservice to Foster and the entire membership.

This could be you. This could be your Dad. This could be your friend.
