I am not a Daddy's Girl. I haven't had the label of "girl" for quite some time now. The girl in your minds and her Dad knocked heads more times than one can count for a collection of 58 years. But guess what? Neither one of them was counting.

Dad has his opinions. I have my opinions. The meeting of our minds has not always been a happy coincidence. Where's the fun in that?

Because I am not a Daddy's Girl the relationship between me and my Dad has evolved into one of often hard won mutual respect - granted, sometimes grudging respect, but RESPECT all the same.

What am I then? I am a good man's daughter. Good man. I know this from the tip of my obstinate toes to the top of my stubborn head.

The rest of the world can think what they may - for now - but anyone who knows this man knows what I am saying to be an undeniable TRUTH.

This daughter raised by a good man knows when to step into the game when malcontents intrude where they DO NOT belong.

Fair Warning Malcontents: You have crossed a line that dissolved into the sand before you could step back.

This Dad and Daughter have what is commonly known as a genetic trait disorder. No neutral. No reverse.

Good luck with your BS. You are going to need it.

Clarification

We are not anti-PGR! Until recently every person in my family and most of our friends were proud Patriot Guard Riders. Most of us signed on in 2007-2008. We have made life long friends through our association with PGR - those who ride out and stand the flag line in all kinds of weather in all sorts of places. We believe in the mission. We serve veterans and first responders and their families.

We serve the mission not elitist leadership. We serve the mission not the patch.

The issues we have with the Patriot Guard Riders in the case of Ted Frosty Foster vs PGR concerns dysfunctional Texas (north Texas) local, state, regional leadership and PGR national board of directors.

Leadership has failed the mission. They have failed the membership. They have failed the organization. They have failed a veteran.

Patriot Guard Riders is a fine organization.

Patriot Guard Riders deserve better leadership.
